Isabel Garcia Global Prime Office Network-IBM Building After graduating from Concordia University with a Bachelors Degree in Applied Social Sciences in 1986, Isabel worked as a Personnel Consultant and then operated a Novell Training Center. In 1989 she was introduced to the Office Business Centers industry and she has managed business centers since that time. In 1994 she opened the Montreal HQ franchise (for a Toronto owner) and she presently serves as Vice President of Global Prime Office’s two centers in Montreal. She is responsible for the Operations, Sales/Marketing and Finance. Although she has experience with independently owned centers, being part of HQ (A Member of The Regus Group Network), her experience as a franchisee has provided her with a valuable understanding of the larger players in the industry. As an active member of OBCAI since 1996, she has attended every convention since that time. She has worked on various OBCAI committees such as the Convention, LMN, Sales & Marketing and the International Task Force. During her tenure as OBCAI Board Member 2007 and 2008, she formed the Web Broker Task Force and was instrumental in developing the Best Practices Guidelines for Internet Referral Agents and Office Business Center Operators. In 2008, Isabel received the OBCAI Outstanding Board Achievement Award as well as an Award for her outstanding efforts in forging greater unity and advanced practices among Brokers and Operators.
