On January 19th, OBCA-CAN, the Canadian OBC Local Member Network, held an incredible meeting. Hosted by The Rostie Group and OBC-CAN President Cynthia Rostie in Toronto, the meeting included video conference that enabled 35 participants from 25 business centers in Canada from Vancouver, British Columbia all the way to Halifax, Nova Scotia to participate. OBCAI President Carolina Rendeiro spoke at the LMN meeting, touting the benefits and value of the ‘new OBCAI’ and Cynthia Rostie discussed OBCA-CAN’s marketing, networking and lobbying goals for the year.
“This kickoff meeting demonstrated that an LMN can even be country-wide…at least to start and remain as such until each city becomes strong enough to form their own LMN,” said Isabel Garcia, Board Liaison to the Local Member Network Committee.
